A reputable newspaper dedicated to reporting on the latest advancements in health technology and promoting longevity.
Overview
Objective: To revamp LT’s website, enhancing user experience, increasing readership, and fostering engagement in the field of health and longevity technology.
The Problem
Outdated, high bounce rate, poor user experience, new competition gaining market share, inconsistent brand presence across product suite, poor performance, and bugs.
Process:

Audience: Understanding the target audience, which includes healthcare professionals, technology enthusiasts, and health-conscious individuals.
Competitor Analysis: Analysing competing health tech news websites for insights into design, content, and user engagement.

Challenges
- Content Organization: I must design a layout that effectively organizes a vast amount of health-related content, ensuring it’s easy for readers to find articles on specific topics, research, and health tech news.
- Mobile Responsiveness: I’ll need to create a design that’s responsive to various screen sizes and devices, ensuring a seamless user experience on mobile phones, tablets, and desktops.
- Accessibility: Ensuring that the website is accessible to all users, including those with disabilities, requires attention to detail in design to meet accessibility standards and guidelines.
- Performance Optimization: My design should optimize page load times, especially when incorporating multimedia elements like images and videos, to provide a fast and smooth user experience.
- Design Consistency: Maintaining a consistent visual design, including typography, color schemes, and design elements, across different pages and sections of the website is crucial for a cohesive user experience.
- Engagement Features: You’ll need to design interactive elements such as comment sections, forums, and user-generated content areas that encourage user engagement while adhering to the website’s overall design aesthetic.
